Welcome to Walker Parish Church

This website has been set up to hold historical information about Walker Parish Church 'Christ Church' in the parish of Walker, Newcastle upn Tyne, England.

Much of the information in this website wasaken from two booklets: 'A Short History of Christ Church, Walker' and 'A Guide to the Stained Glass Windows in Christ Church Walker, Newcastle Upon Tyne' written by a much loved and sadly missed member of our congregatioin, Tom Todd. It is thanks to his enthusiastic love of local history and our church that we have such a wonderful record of the past life and the story of our Church.
